Biography
Gracia Steinemann
The Chilean-Swiss pianist Gracia Steinemann was born in Switzerland in 1994 and began playing the piano and violin at the age of 7.
During her studies, Gracia Steinemann had the opportunity to study with the renowned Dutch pianist Ronald Brautigam as well as with Prof. Adrian Oetiker, Prof. Zoltán Fejérvári, Prof. Anton Kernjak and Prof. Claudio Martínez Mehner.
During her career, she has received numerous prizes, including the Friedl Wald Foundation Prize and the European Music Competition Città di Moncalieri Prize.
The young pianist has already performed at important venues such as the birthplace of Beethoven in Bonn, the Theater Basel, the Gare du Nord in Basel, the Goetheanum in Dornach and the Casino Monor in Hungary.
Gracia Steinemann is involved in a variety of musical projects, including solo performances, chamber music, solo concerts with orchestra, music education projects and the development of contemporary music.
In addition to her artistic activities, Gracia Steinemann teaches piano at the Bern Conservatory.
