Gracia Steinemann is a Swiss-Chilean classical concert pianist, based in Basel, Switzerland. She began playing piano and violin at the age of seven.
She studied, among others, with the renowned Dutch pianist Ronald Brautigam as well as Adrian Oetiker, Zoltán Fejérvári, Anton Kernjak and Claudio Martínez Mehner at the University of Music in Basel. Gracia Steinemann has won numerous prizes, such as the scholarship of the Friedl Wald Foundation and the European Music Competition Città di Moncalieri.
Gracia Steinemann performs in important venues including Beethovens house of birth in Bonn, Theater Basel, Gare du Nord Basel, the Goetheanum in Dornach, Casino in MonorHungary and the Teatro de la Universidad de Chile in Santiago de Chile.
She appears as a soloist with orchestras, as well as a chamber musician, is involved in music education projects and plays contemporary music.
Gracia Steinemann also teaches at the Music Academy of Basel.
